If we do sign Vertonghen and M'Villa our outlay for 2012/13 season will be around 30mil (estimate.) assuming RVP stays. I think every gooner agrees that we need to offload players that sadly will not make the grade, My list is as below, which I'm sure will find massive disagreement. However if these 12 players were sold at an average of 3mill each (very conservative in some cases) the accumulated value is going to be somewhere between 36~40 mill possibly as much as 50 mill. Consequently our transfer budget will still be in credit. Our average outlay for the last 6 years is 3 million per year CREDIT. Which is by far the lowest outlay in the Prem, behind Sunderland, Wigan, Stoke, et al. I still have this nagging feeling that Kroenke is more interested in profit than performance. Does anyone share this view? Almunia Bendtner Denilson Djourou Vela Arshavin Diaby Chamakh. Fabianski Squilacci Lansbury Bartley
Almunia - Free Bendtner - 4ish Denilson - 2ish Djourou - Loan Vela - 3ish Arshavin - 6ish Diaby - Won't Go. Chamakh - 5ish Fabianski - 2ish Squilacci - 1ish Lansbury - Possibly won't go. Bartley - Won't go. I make that 23m. Prices are deliberately low to get rid!! If that pays for Vertonghen & Podolski, then that's good business.
i believe almunia and fabianski are both in the last year of their contracts so will leave on a free. don't know why we should sell Djourou, he is a very good 4th choice CB, and I don't see us getting Vertonghen. Lansbury and Bartley we should keep in the squad or sell, let Wenger decide.
