Football Facts ‏@FootballFacts2 7h Most English consecutive wins: 14, joint record: Arsenal 2002, Manchester United 1904-05, Bristol City 1905-06, Preston North End 1950-51... At least we share one record.....
Better than that other record?..surely not...you're on your own with that one..... - In 1982 Bristol City became the first English club to 'suffer' three consecutive relegations. 'orrible day innit!
Was probably unbeaten run Lan. Nice to see we are one of 4 clubs to have the longest wining run in the country
Good to see, I thought Reading equalled it in the 90's when they had that great start to a season. Also funny that once something to be proud of is mentioned a special police officer with no power to do anything but thinks he's the super intendant MOD, hypocrite mulitible user is over here trying to be funny. Bring back YOBG I say
Not sure what year it was but the record came to an end at Sheff Wed where we lost 1-0. I still remember the goal....Phillips and about 3 City defenders still didn't stop a header.... I think that was the year we made a pretty bad start (just for a change!!) then towards mid season we went on this brilliant run, which as you've said still wasn't enough !
Well at least the Gas hold one record in their own right Most players sent off in a single match 4 V's Wigan away and Wigan had one sent off as well no other team has had more that 3 sent off in a single football league match. Forgot you also hold another record as the team that a single player has scored the most goals against. Joe Payne 10 for I think Luton 12-0 I think the score was a little before my time but I think that's right
Your record is the disgrace and ignominy of the only Bristol club ever to have to seek re-election to the football league...
