It has been an issue with me for many years and now we seem to be doing it again. We all knew that something had to change or our future was less than bleak but here we are again talking about this and that player and yet nothing is happening. Players had to be moved out before we could bring in new ones and, having done some of that, we appeared stalled in the quest for newer, younger and better players. A difficult and trying time is ahead but surely by now we should be much further ahead in the rebuild programme and what has happened to all the rumours? Is the Swindon player actually signed up or are we back up the creek without a paddle searching the backwaters for anyone willing to sign on the dotted line? Every day seems to be like every other day in the life of Bristol City when there are lots of questions but little, if any, answers. Despite many players still being under contract that we might want to move on pastures new, shouldn't the rebuild have started in earnest towards the end of last season rather than wait until the last minute as always? I'm hoping that Sean has some serious aces up his sleeve and we don't wait too long before the nucleus of next season's squad are in place, otherwise the sands of time might run out on us before we can muster a team that has time to gel enough to make us anything other than an also ran.
He is signing Mike, We were told last week he would sign today! So we just have to be patient and wait. He will come here, Something would of been said if he wasn't but like SOD said last week. This is the quiet time in the window. It doesn't get busy until the players come back from their holidays. In fact ive just checked our twitter and ive been mailed that Aden Flint will have his medical and sign today Also its all over twitter as well, The Swindon Advertiser has said it and everything they've said so far about this deal has been spot on
Twitter is probably one of the best source for news and rumours now, and it's widely expected that he'll sign. All the local journo's are on top of it, and I reckon we'll see some news at around 12-2.
