technically we only scored one my friend.

 

Terrible 2nd half display. quite naive to try and play behind the ball like that. we give teams way too much time and space on the ball where as we get closed down straight away. will take the draw but thought we lost 3 points rather than gained 1

 

a work in (the early stages of) evolution! Nothing like a dose of reality to bring us down to earth. Long way to go but just think how matters might have been playing with the team of two weeks ago.

Good result for us tonight, players still to rejoin team and a half week to learn to play together etc.

Really looking forward to Saturday.

I think Diakte and buzz in the squad tonight and we would have won. The midfield was terrible.

 

Me too, had to pick up one of my kids - was relieved to get home and see a 2-2 scoreline.

At least Villa didn't totally turn us over, as Arsenal did them in their last game.
