Sven gave him a 5 year deal just before he left He on 40K a week and Man City cant shift him. Literally For the amount of ability he has he had destroyed his career completely by his gambling, drinking and eating. He has been unlucky with injuries but thats no excuse I think its fair to say Man City havent seen him for a long time. No wonder Nigel wouldnt give him the time of day
Feel sorry for the lad. He should have been our next great english player. His injuries were horrific and whilst he hasnt helped himself, its a great shame for the lad.

He is still young enough to get a football career if he wants it. First thing he needs to do is shift that weight. Then someone at least in league 1 would take him. If he shows his ability he will be back in the championship before long Alot of hard work needed by him buts its not impossible. But its a case of if he wants it badly enough
