if we want to stay up.I think we all know this and even BR.How much funds will be available is another matter. But if we are on the border of relegation come nearing the end of the season with very very hard games left,i can not see us picking up a win or even a draw.We need results during jan - march to try and keep us in mid table and hopefully 10 + pts of relegation. Before our midfield players were our main force, now it has become our weaker force.Hopefully with funds and some luck we can change and stay in this league.:)

we're desperate for some new blood at the moment, it's like the new season optimism has long gone now and the real work begins, central midfield is the issue, they're always to deep and have no flair/creativity which draws our winger's further back and also because they're small or old(gower) they don't have enough speed to play the higher game. we're missing pratley i think or someone in his mold, what would i give now for bodde, gomez and pratley has the midfield 3, they'd beat the pants off our current 3. we could also do with some cover at full back.

we need a lot more that 2-4 players for us to stay up this season, on top of that we need to cut down on our boring waste of possession game play, Nothing else will do.....If brendan continues to play the same system that has served us well in the lower leagues but dont work in the premiership even against teams below us then we can kiss goodbye to the premiership which will result in the departure of any good players and the manager and a lot of fans as we slide down the leagues.....so the board had better do all they can as now is the only chance they will get. no win in 8, no away win fewer goals than anyone apart from stoke and other teams strengthening big time. all the bull we read every week about " im proud of the lads they should have won" "we will learn from this" "the goals will come" blah blah all talk rubbish.........start doing what they preach would be nice and change things that are not working......

2 quality players & a quality player for the future sounds just about right to me thaitaffy . P.S. IF we lost Vorm , one could only imagine what we would get for him bony . IF Vorm stays we have a great keeper ... win win

No probably about it ... At my age & financial foundation , I'll never watch them live ..... But I love them !! . I only care about the money the team can take with it when we eventually drop from this " Greed League " . I'm a realist 99 , your a dreamer . You want to spend & pretend the team is someone else , many teams have tried that & arrived back in the Championship a mess .

i watched the QPR game, there was a tonne of keep ball, but that was mostly in your own half, ok you wont concede when you've got the ball but you wont score either. for a passing game to work you need to keep the ball in the other half, sounds simple, and it should be. first half QPR didnt really get much of the play, second half they started closing down and creating chances, a draw was a fair result and i must admit you are faring much better than i thought. half the games played and 19 points from 18. those who watch swansea every week will know there have been matches where points have been chucked away, wolves away for example.

as for strengthening, i dont think graham is very good, however he scores goals and holds the ball up well, and scored a goal from nothing against QPR. beyond him and theres a lack of quality up front. moore hasnt hacked it in the PL so i'd worry if there were to be an injury to graham. full backs need strengthening, richards did ok, but augustien had to fill in at right back so it shows more are needed..

well someone who can see the real picture that we are short on premiership players all over the team, I agree that danny is not premiership class and not very good but he has been our best player.......says a lot that....<ok> some on here cant see the woods for the trees in the hope we will win most of our games when the reality is we will win an odd game here and there and draw some games against good sides, well that wont be enough to keep us from relegation in any shape or form. This is the weakest premiership ever and we are one of the worse sides in it and if we dont take this one chance we have in a weeks time to change things instead of talking about Boddie, Dobbie as if they are good enough to start scoring goals then we will blow it and certain relegation and the slippery slide down the leagues........there is one good thing though......we will be a rich club with millions in the bank because we never used it for what it is intended for......6 players or bust, we are a championship playing club in the premiership that cant last....

Dai, how the hell can you criticise Breezy for not watching our games live? The guy lives thousands of miles away and can't exactly pop down to the Liberty.

Due to circumstances I can only get to the odd game but I make a point of catching games live via computer or TV, as I'm sure Breezy does. For me I'm pleased that Breezy has chosen the Swans as his team - you know what they say, "you can't choose your family but you can choose your friends".

As it happens, imo, you both made good points. But there is a balance to be struck and it's up to Buck and the Board to find it.

Just read a BBC article with Huw saying there is money for 1 or 2 quality players .... Don't shoot the messenger 99 ... Even I'll be a bit pissed if it's only one though

Got one of the best Christmas presents ever Ivor, it cost nothing either . The cable company made everyone go digital & were expecting people to switch in mass to satellite . So they added 10 or so extra channels to try to keep there costumers . The thing is it was 10 channels of what they couldn't sell around here anyways . One of them was a " Soccer " channel that I can watch all games & a few Championship games Lol !! Santa was brilliant !!

whilst i agree players are needed, to suggest that this is one of the weakest ever premierleagues is ludicrous, there are 6 top teams and no easy games. and by the way the league table doesnt lie, its almost january and there are 6 teams beneath you..

you must be the most pessimistic people i've ever come across <laugh>

Scotty Sinclair to be the next Gareth Bale if he applies himself correctly. Im sure Rodggers & coaches working on giving him that belief

Big Olifenjana type in the middle and a prestige full back signing is essential.

Jordan Roades for me as well...as a premiership club on solid foundations we must be in able to put a meamingful bid in.
