The result against man U went to form we are newly promoted with new players that don't match up to the leading sides in the prem. Our focus has to be against the other minnows ( yes that's what we are ! ) losing to Hull was a setback but beating Sunderland bodes well. Hill must never start again unless injury to other players requires it - a needless free kick and he turned his back on the second goal. Traore is developing into a very good attacking left back/wing back not sure why he did not start and we are weaker when Barton doesn't start. Sandro looked a little short of fitness as did Niko but for the future our team looks good. Hopefully Vargas and Charlie gel well and we can look forward to doing well against the other strugglers and anything else will be a bonus.

Agree wholeheartedly, I don't have a problem losing to the "big teams" but I do have a problem with just caving in as we have in the last two away games. Lose, but lose having a go, not a lot to ask!

The result didn't go to form. They'd only score 2 goals in their previous 3PL games, and hadn't won yet. We were above them with 3pts to their 2pts, and we were coming off the back of what should've been a confidence boosting win. Plus they'd been smashed 4-0 by MK dons. And they looked terrible last season.

I don't think people are concerned about the loss- it was always the most likely outcome (I predicted Utd2- 0). We're concerned about the abysmal cowardly performance, and shipping 4 goals for the second time this season

I agree completely but I feel it's a matter of time before that changes. The core of our midfield consisted of 3 players who've not played together. Once they get used to each other's games and Barton comes back in, I feel we'll be able to put on a better show - although that's not saying much!

On another note, Krancjar didn't do it for me in the Championship and I can't see him doing it this season. What worries me is that, as a mate of Harry - and we all know that's more important than form -, he'll be playing a lot this season.
