The two signings seem to be decent, especially like the cox signing.

However pack is not the answer in the middle, get that position sorted and hopefully we can move up the table.

Will someone arrive before Friday mmmmmmm

Yes a replacement for Wade Elliot is a must

Pack is not the same type of player. A creative player who can work wonders with Freeman, Kodjia and co would solve most of our unsolved problems

We def need another option in there, its the midfield that is the weak link at this point.

'its the midfield that is the weak link at this point'

I agree about our midfield but not sure it's the only area where we're weak.
I think our finishing has let us down in the games I've seen.
Also think we can't defend, in particular Ayling and Williams.
Fielding will never do it for me.
Hamer was MOM at Boro and struggle to believe he's, although not great so far, worse than Fielding.

Midfield is where games are won and lost- Pack isn't championship standard and I don't feel that Smith is either. Seems to dwell far too long on the ball and needs time to think options, for me. Freeman seems off his game at present which hopefully is short term, Bryan is also a confidence player.

The thread is quite right, we need a general in midfield making things happen-

Would snap him up so fast! Maybe thinking he might be off to Sunderland on a 1 year deal. If not would love him here, would improve us so much and add a bit of muscle to a weak midfield and is also a goal threat.

Nolan wont come cheap which may be a big problem, even assuming he is on our radar, but he would certainly add some bite, and he creates and scores goals too.

I would love him here as well, in fact I thought that when he was released weeks ago, same old problem though big bucks for wages, I did read that big Sam was after him.

But we could offer him a good signing on fee in lieu of keeping him in the wage bracket. I don't know why we've not seen that the answer could be out there already.

Failing that get Wade up to fitness I'm sure he could still do it for a season.

Wade Elliott should still be playing, quality does not go,only the speed.
If we could not replace him, should at least keep wade available.

Are you mad? he could barely play 5 minutes the end of the last season.

Fielding is not the issue whilst we have the minimalistic look with our squad. He is no worse than anyone else we've seen this year so far

Joe Cole's gone to Coventry on a month's loan.

Could he do a job for you?

Nah Joe Cole is nothing special anymore. We don't need that type of player here.

Wasn't he on £90,000 a week not so long ago- He wouldn't come cheap, besides, if our midfield could play every week like they did last night, there wouldn't be a problem
