We've been linked with Sneijder for quite sometime now. His recent statement concerning the transfer saga with the club should be real cause for optimism amongst us United fans. We've been linked with a variety of attacking players, but Sneijder is the best bet to be honest. Itâs simple, really. Sneijder, at 27, has more experience than all the centrally placed midfielder's at our club â minus Scholes. He would be third on the list of all midfielders behind both Scholes and Giggs. He's the piece of jigsaw we've been missing this season until Scholes came along. Cleverley was in pretty good form himself at the start of the season and his performances were also a pretty big part of our good run during that time. Should we trust the youngster over one the premier attacking midfielders in the game? No. Cleverley is only 22 years old and could learn a thing or two from him. Sneijder would give us at least three to four good years and decrease the creative burden from Rooney in the process. With two of the best wingers in the world, a solid defensive midfielder in the form of Carrick and Rooney partnered with one of many productive partners, teams would fear this United attack. We need this sort of attack to compete with the big teams in Europe. The amount of respect we'd gain from Sneijder joining us is inconceivable. There's no point in denying that our standards and reputation in Europe has dramatically decreased.
Supposed to be the all singing and all dancing new German superstar. Would cost a great deal. His agent is dropping the names of interested clubs, ours included.
According to this, United have not contacted Borussia Dortmund. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3275...gotzes-agent-denies-manchester-united-contact
Gotze is a very good attacking midfielder, but I honestly think Kagawa from Dortmund would be the better option, he seems more of a center midfielder that links the play where as Gotze seems more of an advanced attacking player.
That is correct. One of the main reasons agents do it is to inflate the figures of the players that they represent.
Whoever signs Gotze is on to a winner, the boy is special. He would be a far more likely signing than Sneijder too, age, wages, resale value and the fact that he is isnt semi crocked like Wesley, who has missed 50% of Inters Serie A games in the past two seasons.
