I would like to see us bring in Heskey and Robbie Fowler on shot term contracts until the end of the season. Big Emile would cause havoc against Championship defences as he is normally used to terrorising World Class defences such as the Germans when England won 5-1 over there. Fowler then could act like a better Ross Mcormack in the sense that he would finish without question 100% of chances and both would only expect Championship wages of about £1000 a week as they are already multi millionaires. Emile doesnt need to work, since being released by Villa I heard he has been making a great success of his chain of Nail PArlours that he and his wife started opening 5 years back but he itches to hit the back of the net again so could be tempted to play for a MASSIVE club such as ours. Fowler is well known to own half or MErseyside and must be bringing in around £10,000 a week on Rent alone, aprat from the DSS houses where its more likely to be £50 a week but thats by the by, Robbie has missed playing at the TOP level of football since leaving Leeds to play for Man City and so too could be tempted back intot he BIG Time. What are other peoples thoughts? I think a World Class manager like Neil Warenock would only have to phone these two and his number would come up on caller display (because all world class players share numbers with world class managers) and they wouldnt even answer. They would pass the phone to their wives to answer like a child who cant bear to open his GCSE result, hoping they are going to get the news they crave. So go on Mr Warenock, make the call, or text and get these two on board or else I cant see us finishing any higher than 3rd.

I think Heskey could still do a job at this level, but I wouldn't sign Fowler if he offered to pay to play.
See your point with Heskey as when Jason Roberts dropped down he looked quality but I dont think hes worth the risk. You could only play him with Rosco IMO so hes not adding much. Becchio and Rosco have started excellent and its the midfiled that needs some attention. Happy with your start?
