The most ex players to come back & score against us. I'm starting to be more surprised when we face one that doesn't score!
Very true, what we up to now? Bale, Walcott and now Dyer. Ox at home to Arsenal up next? After Ox though I can't think of many others with decent goal scoring potential. Are Accrington-Stanley still in the FA cup, it would be just our luck to have Beattie slot one past us for his 1st goal since 2009!
Watford now? Let's just take this moment to enjoy the fact that they beat Leeds 6-1 at Elland road today!
That's just a statistic that is all the more a miserable reminder of just how many good players came off the Southampton FC conveyor belt and had to be sold prior to the financial meltdown. The upside of it is that if we hadn't the crisis we wouldn't be owned by the Liebherrs. I, for one, would rather be owned by a multi billion rich Swiss family, whose top man has a vision for success, than by a bunch of no-monies headed by Guy Askham and Rupert Lowe, who seemed to be keen on making as much money as they could out of the club. Certainly Askham made a pile in the reverse takeover. Hopefully, he lost it too.
There should be some kind of ruling that anyone called Guy or Rupert shouldn`t be allowed anywhere near a football club - everyone should be called George, Bobby, Jimmy, Dave etc

Ex-players are scoring becausewe have been defensively poor...tighten up at the back and this record will fade away (Or Cortese can put out a hit squad on them).
Always knew when some of our fans baited Kevin Pilllips it would end in disaster this boy really could finish .It was a bit like asking Mike Tyson to punch you on the jaw.
yep can see it now- next week saints 1-0 up at qpr, just 5 mins left to play mark hughes comes on in his suit and shoes. Fonte gets caught in possession, Clyne slips, ball gets crossed - a wayward header by fox lands at hughes feet 18yards out who punts ball in 4 yards wide of goal only for it to hit Hooiveld and trickles under Gazzas legs. Chapter 12 in the Saints story so far
Everyone who has scored so far has been very respectful. I do wonder what Kenwyne Jones reaction would be though, doubt he'd be as courteous as the others.
No, they will be winning with seconds to go, he'll shoot at our goal, Gazza will collect it and fire up the other end, and we will score. Did it before, but I'm not bitter.
