No rush, there's 36 games to go - and Walsall. Once we're ready for the late revival in March we should be fine.
Noticed that, Traore was giving MH some seriously bad looks. Only player who seemed oblivious to it all was Park but maybe that's a korean thing or he simply isn't cottoning on to the vibe.
Yep a lot of heads down, lets think: QPR Linked just this week with: GK, couple of defenders, and a midfielder. Mystery
Forgot to says Hughes tried to explain why he's after another keeper, would he of done this had a keeper arrived before today? Mind games. Last thing Rob Green needs.
After last week I'm not surprised that there heads were down. After that mauling they are under pressure and have to accept that they will now have to play for their places. Performances like last week are not acceptable and if they want to stay in the team they'd better improve. I love hill and mackie, both were superb last year, but hill just hasn't got the legs or patience fir the premiership as demonstrated today by lardy arse holt. And Mackie, although the hardest worker week in and week out, he just hasn't got what it takes to do the job he's asked to do. Too often he comes in to the middle from the right channel and leaves a gaping hole. He tracks back well but today he almost made a simple clearance into a cock up and just got away with it. He might not like it, but he is far more effective as a sub.
I didnt see to many technically gifted players out there today, but that word "technical" always baffles me.
We will improve according to Hughes. I should certainly hope so. This is a new team according to Hughes. Is that strictly correct? Only Fabio, Park & Hoillett are new this season.
Mackie has been played as a winger ever since banging in those early goals in the promotion year, Our managers won't play him up front or just off. So they keep starting him on the right. I feel for him tbh. Defo super sub. Hill is a LB playing at CB. While Onuha sits at RB. Madness I could go on.
