A lot of us were very concerned when we knew Sam Baldock was on his way out of Ashton Gate and wondered why we had let our best player leave the club. Being in the final year and an extremely valuable asset based on his exploits last season we, looking back in hindsight, made the right decision and have clearly rebuilt the shed and moved on and up. I had some concerns about what might happen and although did not want us to do a "Nicky" I begrudgingly saw the reasons why Sam left and the results since the transfer have been a revelation to us all. Although it's still early in the season I clearly see that most, if not all, of you are happy with the transformation and long may it continue. There's a lot of bridges still to cross and we will experience some bumps in the road but if we keep our nerve we are finally capable of getting back to respectability. Congratulations to SC on the rebuild job he has done and I'm sure he still has some minor building blocks he needs to put in place before he will consider the job fully completed, but don't get carried away and win the Manager of the Month award please.
