Does anyone recall the season that our beloved QPR was the last club in any of the top four divisions to secure a win?! I've got a feeling it was about 2002?? As I recall, we were not relegated in that year, though I doubt we covered ourselves in much glory either. Looking for encouragement in any which way.
Good man RTID. A bit of positivity in a sea of gloom. I'd take survival over glory right now. Hold on for the rollercoaster ride!
it was actually 2004/2005, our first season back in the championship. We beat Gillingham 1-0 (Marcus Bean scoring I believe) and then went on a 7 game unbeaten run, winning pretty much all of them.
Good ............. so were in it for the long haul. That will do me. As long as we stay up ............. any position better than last year will suffice. Preferably, higher than lower will keep the heart beating on a regular circle.
cheers elnino, thought it was more distant than that season. The point I was trying to make is that freak things happen and do not necessarily define the rest of the season. Thanks again for the stat.
I remember that Marcus Bean goal well He was on the ground in the Gillingham penalty box and actually swept the ball in with his arm! Anything for a win........
