    <ok>

I thnk we have to start questioning Monk's position at the club. Not for the first time when the Spanish players left has it been claimed he was at the centre of disruption behind the scenes.

I dont even care about any of that. I just want to see our players putting in a strong performance for the full 90 minutes. If we cant get that then he just isn't cut out to be a manager.

    Get a grip guys FFS!

We were unlucky today, if we had taken our chances in the first half we would have been out of site. Monk is doing an ok job so far considering he is a rookie.

we don't have a good team, cant beat Newcastle, stoke, sunderland, its an average side. what the problem is I don't know, playing out 90 minutes seems to be a problem and poor substitutions by Monk. not going into another Monk v Laudrup war but he is proving to be a crap manager. no idea what the backroom setup is but the fitness coach should be sacked

I think a lot of us felt that the first few games were a false dawn but were shouted down here (screamed at and abused actually).

However, Monk has now got to be given the opportunity to put things right. Laudrup had the same problem with poor second half displays from this team, remember.

Didn't Monk say they were having double training sessions and being fined for annoying the man in charge?
Fitness has been a really problem this season - there's fitness and there's game fitness - and we don't appear to have either.
Monk was never my choice but was willing to keep schtum until the end of October, well November isn't too far away. Leicester is a must win IMO.
Draw or lose against Leicester and November could destroy the man and seriously damage the team.

The issue we have right now is that we have 2 from 15 points and will soon be heading into a tough run of fixtures. Our performance in the 2nd half was poor and Monk has to take responsibility. Opposition managers react and make changes which we fail to deal with. To be fair we should have 2 up 1st half and had a tough penalty call against us....how Ki missed I don't know.

If this doesn't turn around soon Monk may have to go. We cannot afford to wait until Jan / Feb to make a decision like we did with ML. When you see what Ronald K is doing at Southhampton it does make me question the decision to go for Monk.

The worrying thing is, it's not the same team.
Fab, Fernandez, Neil, Ki, Gylfi, Carroll.

I think it has little to do with anything but lack of confidence by players in the manager. We better move quick imo.

TBF Laudrup's poor end to games came at the same time as a crippling injury list. So far we have been lucky with injuries - without Ash, or Ki (although his second half performances have been weak), Siggurdson, Bony our performances would be rock bottom.

It's that Monk is too slow adapting to in game situations and cannot make the correct tactical adjustments when we are losing control of the game. Time and time again this season, he has waited for us to go behind before making substitutions. He needs to start making them before we lose control of games.
at the moment, he goes with a gameplan, it works until half time. The opposition managers tweet things, and he doesn't know how to adjust. Very similar to Rodgers.

the issue we have is the striker is not putting them away and without a good striker who can finish then it will always be a close game. There is nothing wrong with the football but when it comes to finishing then we are poor, Bony is a bit overrated by some on here and you can see how the big teams refused to take a chance on him, At this rate he is in line for 6-7 goals for the season and that is nowhere near good enough...

Siggurdson and Ki between them had three good chances.

We have Nathan and Routledge on the wings but play through the middle making the job harder for Bony, Ams and both wingers.
