With Brighton beating Newcastle that's 2 weekends now at the end of February without a game. Hopefully we can use this break to our advantage. Very disappointed today but keep the faith, UTT.

Don't think it will be a complete break, surely there will be matches re-arranged for mid week. Not sure a break does a team any good at this point, unless we have injuries I would rather keep the momentum going.

I expect we'll still be training and that, and it does mean we'll have a pile up of fixtures at some point (we have a busy March). But it can be a chance to recharge our batteries so to speak and use the games in hand and break from games to our advantage.

Dont see an issue really. After the Birmingham away game on tuesday 14th Feb, Citys next game will be Blackpool away on friday 3rd march.. I dont see any fixtures being arranged between those games and City do have a busy 3 weeks coming up SO A REST/BREAK wont be a bad idea. With Birmingham Confirmed in round 5 and maybe Southampton and Blackpool after replays, 3 of our rivals will have busy schedules. More games means more injuries, suspensions and fatique at the end of the season. This plays into everyone elses hands who are now Out of the cup who are at the top. Keep the Faith as the PL is all that matters anyway.

As for the Crawley game ? the best team won on the day even though we were mainly squad players. Swansea made 10 changes for there game @ Bolton today so we were not the worst offenders for changes. The Idiots ringing in Humberside tonight made me laugh. Talk about knee jerk reactions. I guess that when Crawley say draw Leicester Stoke or maybe Birmingham away in round 5 we shall all be happy. Cup Fever ? I am cured of it now. Lol.

I ignored Blunderside tonight for that reason. Yeah, I was annoyed about the performance and not gonna deny we were poor, but the knee jerk reactions are laughable. We're fifth in the league and pushing for promotion, not everything is perfect right now but things could be worse.

We would have had a pile up of fixtures IF we had made further rounds. So maybe going out now is not quite as bad as many would have you think. <ok>

Indeed. Well one city fan rang in and said he had won £1700 on city to lose and Tubbs to get the goal. At least none of the fringe players can complain when they dont start or get on the bench after today. The defence did ok it was what played in front of them that was the problem.. But i guess tuesday is what matters most now.
