I started a thread on JA606 last year probably about the first match people attended I've just been told that my memory was faulty and I attended several matches prior to the 1955 date I gave apparently the first match I attended was 1952 Friday 11th April and we beat Brighton 4-1 the details were in my Uncles diary. My excuse for not remembering the match is simple at the time I was exactly 2 months old and not paying too much attention to what was going on around me.

There was me thinking I made the choice of whom I wanted to watch when my uncle must have brain washed me in the first year or two of my life. Anyone else taken to the footie as a baby?

Can't remember my first city game. Think it was when I was in year 4 and the school took us for winning a cup game, Of which I scored the winning penalty. Burnbush against stockwood green :D 5-4 on pens. Always remember that.
