We got duly rooted today as a direct result of a lack of investment in the summer. In one fateful afternoon, all pre-season doubts became reality. Despite all the rubbish about being ready, having the best preparation, proving critics wrong, being confident etc.....we were anything but and were deservedly smashed at home by a mid-table side. Hardwork isn't a substitute for quality. If the clowns running this club are watching, your investment has just halved in the space of 90 mins. We are now deadset favourites to go down. Either invest more to protect the value or sell up (that probably goes for the mittals too). Stand up or stand aside. There are no shortcuts to making money these days. And to that fat orange bloke with the dodgy glasses, you've now confirmed why I never thought of you as a businessman. Don't think you've run anything half decent in your life.
That's all well and good saying that now after getting a hiding in our first game 12thman. Why didn't you say it before the season started? (Welcome to the forum by the way )
Cheers. Been reading this forum every night for the past few months. Frustration has been building and this just tipped me over the edge. Decided to get my a55 into gear and register/subscribe.
Good stuff man. As you've no doubt seen, if you try in any way to be realistic on here you will be shot down before you know it by the "All Is Rosy" Brigade. Be prepared my friend.
