Can't remember the last time I've come away from a midweek game and not been dissapointed.

To much faffing about with the ball and allowing them to pressure us at the back.

First half okay, second half a joke, our defence was a shambles second half.
    Flint premier league no chance.
Derby looked good up top, again their defence looked very poor.
Lots of rebuilding for next season.

Terrible performance 2nd half, I wonder what Junior said at half time.
'Let's invite them on, continually launch it at Kodija and take off probably our best player after 65minutes'.

Surely not, but that's what happened.

We were awful at the back in general, we fumbled it about at the back without purpose. Lost count of how many times we went from good positions straight back to keeper. One from a throw in right in their corner!

Good first half, and awful in the 2nd- Poor defending- Other results not going favourably- Ok we are 9 points clear but not safe yet. MK would overtake us on goal difference if the unthinkable happened- We must get that one point!

Derby were pressing high 2nd half and they had the confidence to do it. I don't think they were expecting a team like us to stand toe to toe with them football wise in the first 45 mins and obviously their manager saw that and decided to pin us back and make us play long ball. Thought Freeman and Byran were dog **** last night. Tomlin just couldn't seem to get working but he was trying. Kodjia looked good and took his goal well but let's not forget lads, this was a team that spent a hell of a lot of money and have just confirmed their play off place and for the first 45 minutes we matched them. Yes we lost but gives us a bit of hope for next season knowing we can add about 4 or 5 players and compete with the derby's of this league.

Bryan had a bad one, Freemans dependence on his left foot was alarmingly exposed by their defence. I would have put Golbourne on for Bryan and left Reid on. Route one football to Kodija was ineffective and naïve.
Frankly, against Blackburn, and until we get the one point needed, play one up top and effectively 10 men behind the ball!

I think if it wasn't for winning in the first half, we might of seen it for what it was. They was on top in the first half just two mistakes led to the two goals.
When they stepped up a gear in the second half it showed the difference in quality.

And bang another snide comment at LJ. He must of gone further than pissing in your cornflakes he must of went the whole shabang and ****ed in them.

'Anyway I missed the Wednesday game and, according to a mate, all credit should go to Junior.
He picked the right players and system, he played 'through' them and only the odd 'launch'.
    Fair play'.

'And bang another snide comment at LJ'

By all accounts it was a bad day at the office, but Derby are a top side and have spent loads of money. 3-2 isn't a humiliating result, when you compare our respective seasons and league positions.
We just need a point - just ONE more measly point - that's all. Then we can start thinking about next season and ensuring that we don't end up in a relegation scrap once more.
