should we praise him after today's excellent win

If you will excuse the pun watching on the PC is not the full picture but I felt today that we were not out and out deliberately negative on instruction I said earlier that we failed in the final 3rd but then for all their pressure so did Everton

It is almost as though we play 2 flat back 4's and 2 run your b*****ks off strikers Is that TP tactics or because we do not have creative midfielders That is rhetorical because we dont but then whose fault is that

Now to contradict my view of TP we are 8th the first to qualify for Europe ( although that may be as far as we go once the big hitters come in to the draw )and hopefully likely to be in the 4th round of the FA Cup

So how do you argue against that but the Prem is so tight that two defeats and you can be back in squeaky bum territory

As Greavies used to say "It is a funny old game" So I guess that we have got to settle for grinding out wins like today because come early next year the flowing football that is Norwich Swansea and QPR could have come unstuck like Hull and Blackpool

I guess that is almost a pat on the back for TP so I must need another vodka

Again well done the lads today Thoroughly desreved win

He got his midfield spot on today. Shotton was an inspired choice and Deano always makes us more solid in the midfield.

I'm giving T.P. praise for a few reasons...
    1. He left out Rory(no offence to him personally but we all know why) and we got a RESULT partly because as Waddo say's.. we ran/worked our nuts off. Or the player's did.
    2. AS I've ALWAYS said.. THEY do that and we'll get the rub of the green sometimes, today I suppose Everton were awful but are they that bad?
    3. I honestly don't think they are.
    4. T.P. at least kept to the back four or two C/Hs most of us know is our best pairing and it worked today.
    5. T.P. changed the midfield by giving Shotton a chance.. he may be raw but the lad is willing and from the commentary.. he worked hard and "had a reet go"
    6. IF they keep doing that fantastic.. it may not have been a classic but, UNTILL T.P. decides to play our better "footballer's" we'll grind out results I suppose.

WELL done T.P. and the player's. THREE pts I honestly did not expect <ok> MOTD is on now so...

I think there is a long way to go yet and 8th down to 14th will be very tight and it could come down to a few points dropped or a poor goal difference! At the end of the day, a little consistencey does wonders for the confidence and a clean sheet (as nail biting as it was at times) is worth it weight in gold!
