We could do a ''Chelsea''

whereby we finish out of the top 4 and win the champions league, i would be over the moon if that happened to us this season, that would mean either Liverpool, Man city or Tottenham would miss out on 4th place even though i would like us to finish in the top 4.

 

Why is it called a Chelsea? Madrid + Liverpool have both won champions league where they finished outside of the top 4.

what's so funny about that, we're performing better in the champions league than in the premier league this season.

IMO none of the English sides are strong enough to win it this season. They are miles behind the rest of Europe. Still, miracles do happen eh.

They were better sides then and still got lucky.. it happens. I can't see it this season.

Like i said on the other thread, anyone can win the champions league this season including ourselves.

 

Hate to say it, but I gotta agree with Meth on this.
Anyone can win the Champions league if they are in it.
Do I think United will win it....no way....but its possible.
Depends on what kind of draws they get in the knockouts

Wouldn't go that far, you only beat a **** Sociedad side who lost their only good player in the summer at home 1-0, there's something not quite right with United at the moment, and to think you could even compete against Bayern/Barca/Madrid at the moment is ridiculous. When we won it Bayern wasn't as good and the main tough competition was Barca and we always have Barca's number anyway which gave us an added advantage before the games even begun and although everyone played their part we had a certain Didier Drogba and Petr Cech who were absolutely instrumental from either ends of the pitch. You just have nowhere near the quality

 

United could win it. Viktoria Plzen could win it. Sunderland could win the league. Baby Harvey could win a fight against Mike Tyson. Any person or team entered for any competition ever could win it.

 

UTD will not do a "Chav park the bus FC", they dont cheat like them
