I am really begining to get a good feeling that we will be off the bottom come Christmas Day and no I have not been drinking look at it, Reading have got a game tonight get a point at best, then they play Arsenal and Man City where I can not see them getting a thing. All we need to do is win either of our next 2, yes that is the hard part I know and we could be looking down on someone for the first time in months. Not only that but we have got 3 of our next 4 games at home where we have to make the difference and I think we can get that all important win and get some point on the board.
If the fans are so negative and have no faith, why should players be different? Both players and fans should have faith. We can do it
I didn't say it was going to be easy but we need to look on the bright side the fake hoops could be even worse than us by Christmas
I could give you 50,000 weekly reasons. Eswoldo, turn it in mate. Just because you've just come back from a run or you've smoked a joint or you've got some good news, there's no need to come on here and start talking sh*te to the rest of us.
This x infinity. As I've said before, the usual 'we are doomed' bollox is getting a tad boring. Time to actually get behind the team instead slating them at every god given moment ( though their might be a few hidden agendas out there methinks )
Staines, don't you think that their 50-odd grand a week wages should be motivation enough? Not to mention pride in their profession and the badge they're representing on their shirts? After all, the players at Norwich and Swansea etc are on average probably earning about a third of our lot yet they seem to try their best every week. I personally think the squad is rotten to the core. They have no more fight in them than a sick dog.
Swords, I can't argue against what you say 'cos you are so right. BUT we (the fans) have to do our bit and not give up. As has been pointed out already, a couple of wins before Xmas might just be the injection of confidence we need. Then a few shrewd buys in January and we might be looking a lot better. I still think we can finish better than Reading, Sunderland and Villa, throw Wigan in the mix and all hope is not lost. WE need to believe ( hard as that might be sometimes)
Fair point Stainsey lad. I sure will be more positive just coming up to 3pm on Saturday. 'appen we're singing off the same hymn-sheet after all!
I don't think the fans will have given up at LR on Saturday. We will all shout, sing and cheer the team on. But most probably fear the worst. Nothing wrong with that imo.
How many points from 17th do you think we need to be at year end for Harry and TF to decide if its worth going for and investing? I think anything more than 6 and they will start planning for next season in Championship.
