The Chairman and Manager signalled their intent to go up with their January deals. On the pitch all is not well right now, but throwing your hands up in the air bawling about it doesn't help either. Equally, pretending it is all going to be alright and sticking your head in the sand doesn't either. SFC is in a great place, we are 22nd in the whole country, let's try and enjoy it, and see if we can break into that top 20. We need to rally behind the team. We HAVE over-achieved, however I do still feel form will be found again. It is do-able. I refer you to Wolves in the season they won the title, check out the highlighted set of results: please log in to view this image In this period they only took 11 points from 39, and still won the title. Like ourselves, they had a storming start, struggled and looked like throwing it away between December-March and still did it. I just feel with players returning to form we will "do a Wolves", not a Norwich. Key men are returning, we are seeing signs of a good shift, and Nigel is the best man to lead us. Believe. This is far, far, far from over. COYR.
I agree but its got to the stage now that there are no more second chances almost. Birmingham and Cardiff are right on our heels and we are only six points clear of sixth place. Anything less than a win against Burnley and I reckon it might just become to difficult to turn around weve only won 2 of our last 10 league matches and that will start to erode the lads confidence. Anyway lets get behind the lads I still believe we're good enough we just need to have a blomin shot and maybe the rub of the green to go our way and who knows but it is certainley getting very very tight.
Wolves weren't even the only team that season to go on a long run of indifferent form in the winter and still get promoted. Birmingham went up in second despite taking 14 points out of a possible 39 from December 13th to March 1st.
I think we could still do it but Nigel must STOP BLOODY TINKERING. This the Championship not the Champions league.
