I just been looking at the table looking up around the play offs and then noticed we are actually now safe from going down. Remember where we were around the xmas and new year period? Some of the teams below us cannot now catch us so its a big weight off my shoulders! Our board has to be congratulated. They managed to get the right man, someone who can bring the passion back to the club. Many thanks to the Board in making this happen. Ward has to be congratulated and get rewarded with a new contract ASAP. He should also be a contender for Manager of the season Surely. He has brought our Rovers back. The players has to be congratulated too. Those who were here under McGhee have performed and showed passion, fight and never say die attitude. The players Ward has brought in has been the right type to go along with what we had and played a massive part in our survival and potential play off push. Just amazing.
Totally and utterly agree. Massive pat on the back to the board, JW and the squad. Fans are quick enough to jump on people's backs when things are going wrong, God knows we've experienced enough of that recently, but the transformation of the club's fortunes with the new stadium and John's appointment has been massive and they all deserve our thanks. It's great to be a Gashead at the moment. Almost as great as its nightmarish to be a ****head!
