Andy Flowers Northampton's third temporary manager this week is quoted as saying "we made them look like Real Madrid".

I hope Argyle players don't start thinking like that, when we start looking like Barcelona then i'll start to get excited.

The problem is were Northampton trying to look like Blogglewhich Recreation 4th eleven, if that's the case maybe we aint Real Madrid after all.

I just at present want us to be the team that finishes no lower than 22nd in DIV2.

No no no no no no no!!!!!!! We were good and Northampton were made to look like they did by our play and nothing else. Enough of the gloom. Northampton were no worse than I have seen numerous teams at Home Park this season who have beaten us. We are not Barcelona or Real Madrid or any other top flight club but we played extremely well and were as good as the result.

Oh and for f*cks sake milton GET OVER IT!

You and your club have got so much going for it at the moment, top of the championship, a very good manager, some fantastic players, money behind you and most likely to go up if you carry on the way you are going. Forget what we did to you and get on with your life and enjoy the success that southampton deserve. Or maybe you are just a sad little tw*t who can't!

A classic over the top, knee-jerk, hyper-aggressive, typical Argyle internet post there by Mouldyoldsoandso who has made a right show of himself!!

That kind of rasping, insulting, yocal retort is now synonymous with Argyle and the internet.

OH DS....C'mon, I wasn't insulted by Mouldy, I couldn't resis ta pathetic pop at Argyle...and expected a riposte...I'm big enough and ugly enough to take that ...not offended in the least...I'll have a another dig at him sometime in the future and expect he'll accept it with humour...if he doesn't, well I'll move on. He was right Saints were fortunate, a wealthy owner, good chariman, amazing manager and I hope your fortunes change as well. Milton

I've got a good idea for now..............just move on now..............in fact I'll just pop you on the Ignore button.............there is more to life than strangers looking for a bit of a stir.

It's sad enough comprehending what made Garry Speed take is own life.........without weirdos like you looking for there daily fix.

    Oh bugger off milton! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

As for yesterday, I felt that you were having a go at us over our win at southampton and I am sorry for the end of my post.
As for my views on your club I meant every word.

And ds at least I am big enough to admit that I have made a mistake unlike you.

I think this was a response to previous encounters with Southampton supporters who were less than polite on the old BBC606 when we beat you last season at yours Milton. The reaction to us winning with one shot in 90 minutes was to say the least a bit OTT with the insults about our poor out in the sticks club who had had the temerity to win a football match being plenty and frankly uncalled for. You would think the entire population of Plymouth had descended on Southampton and raped and pillaged their daughters and sisters. What they failed to realise is that you have by tradition got to lose to us at home to have a much better chance of promotion. Many previous recentish examples like Wolves and Reading to name 2. We did Southampton a favour by winning and that was all the thanks we got for it. It is slightly unusual to find a Southampton supporter on a Plymouth site who is actually friendly and has a sense of humour. As for the DS character well what can I say. He was supposed to be a supporter of ours yet seemed very pleased when the wheels came off because he thought he predicted it all and was so chuffed he had been proved right. Much more chuffed about that than the demise of the club he supposedly followed. And he is a twat of course disguised as a green and he isn't very popular. You wouldn't guess that of course.

Cheers Sensible...I remember that game...if I'm honest I'm a Southampton boy but my kids were raised in Devon...I encouraged them to support their local team rather than the Saints or worse still, Man Utd etc so they grew up supporting Argyle and I'm very happy with that and we always enjoy family banter regarding our respective clubs...I took loads of stick after that game! I guess thats why I look at your site...I may weigh in with a couple of digs in the future, maybe next year and would welcome some light hearted humour back...anyway good luck to you guys. I understand about DS...far be it for me to advise anyone other than, he has passion and should consider channeling it to get behind your team. COYS
