This is not a criticism of SO'D as it easy to be wise in hindsight.
But we needed Burns today, yet he's not even in the Forest Green squad today at Tamworth.
And why was Kevin Krans not on the bench instead of one of the four defenders?

Must admit our away form is shocking.
I think we have all resigned to league 1 so SOD needs to bring in the youngsters from the so say great Academy we have.

Do you really want our proteges' initial experiences of first team football to be in a relegation team, something they might be stained by for years ?
I put it to you gents that the long term futures of anything we might produce academywise is far more valuable and to be cherished by the club than anything we might gain personally from seeing them now.

Their time will come soon enough. Only an idiot would put them in a relegation side.

I agree with Banksy, give the kids a run, they will be hungry to show what they can do.

We are down, all but relegated, it's the fault of senior players, you can't ask the youngsters to take the blame, give them a go and let them restore some of our pride and show some of their own skills...

Why would it scar the kids being in a relegation battle?

The clubs senior players put them here, let the kids have a go with no pressure to mess up, learn from it.

All this bollocks it was down to the blind leading the blind and a new manager will sort them out, **** that they tried to get new contracts after they knew McInnes was all for the big clear out this summer. They then realised we won't survive with the other teams around us picking up points so reverted back to their no effort bollocks.

Yes the board kept McInnes to long, as soon as he mentioned in Jan he wants 2 new defenders the board acted then and bought in SoD to work with what he has.

All bollocks, we are going to lay down and roll over

Don't really understand your theory Brr

Great experience for the youngster to play in the championship with no pressure...I couldn't think of anything better.
You only learn by either playing with or against better players.

There is a famous saying if your good enough, then you play.
Give the kids s go,no pressure, blood them for next season.
At least they will give it 200%

Pointless blooding the youngsters Rodders until its confirmed mathematically then there is nothing to play for and O Driscoll can try to see who he wants where for next season.

Let the senior players take you down and the youngsters breath life in the side towards the final end and pre seasons games. If you think about it most of the youngsters have already been placed outside the club to protect them from the negativity that surely must prevail in the changing room.

SOD was right to loan the youngsters out, not good for them playing where we are at the minute, we should involve them next year though, our away record is 3-3-15 which is a shambles and over the course of the season deserve to be where we are really

relegation wont reflect in any way playing kids..

I am not suggesting for a minute we chuck the u21s in to get battered every week .but the likes of Bobby Reid and Wes Burns could be given a shot now, plenty of sides play kids once they think they're ready, we have an awful record of doing this.

SoD was preparing the youngsters for life in the lower league, getting them battle hardened for where we are going to be next year....
