    Discuss.

It looks like many of our more prolific posters are taking time out.

This at a time, when we should be shouting from the roof tops.

Talk is Chops will be in the Ipswich team on Saturday, not sure I’d bet on that though.

Malky & Hudson in line for the monthly awards.

A new fullback is on the cards.

The Leader is still getting kids excited with updates.

But who cares because we are Cardiff City and we are top of the league.

Aye DJ - and despite what I've said on another thread about single goal wins, a simple 1-0 will do for me on Saturday.

Top of the league is where we are and where we are going to be for a fortnight no matter what we or anyone else does. That is the whole point of building a cushion at this time of the season.

We are bound to have a bad patch just like Southampton did last year when they had some dreadfull results on the run in. They'd built the points cushion to cope though, and got there after being overtaken by Reading.

So what, they got there in second place and that will do me come May.

I'd take 2nd spot now even with our cushion. The thought of history repeating itself always raises its ugly head in the 2nd half of the season. Hopefully we have the squad to cope with tiredness and the back up players to freshen things up if and when things go stale. Looking forward to an exciting run in and hopefully we can start pulling further away from the pack.

What if losing all those away games was our bad patch when we had all the injuries?
With Smith back at last (And as /malky said like having a new striker) maybe we will just keep getting better?
Bring it on and watch the games remaining slowly tick down.
    Lovin' it!!

The postponement of the Leicester game, giving everyone another 2 week break in the winter can only help keep the squad fresh and give time to get over any niggling injuries from the next 2 games.

With some rivals still involved in the FA Cup they risk a fixture log jam and that can only help us.
