where certain fans have now lost faith in MON whatever. This is not good

However at the match I heard no abuse or chants. The players seem to be playing for him.
My biggest fear is that the players freeze against Reading. I also hope this is not blamed on the crowd as I think the players have been supported pretty damned well thus far and it is too easy an excuse to trott out. Heard said a couple of times in commentary recently, that old cliche "if things aren't going well the crowd can act against the team" **** right off, these twats get paid a gazillion pounds a week, ****ing man up and do what you get paid for. I digress......

Have we deserved to lose to West Brom, Everton, Chelsea, Norwich? I don't think we have. The only game I felt we have deserved to lose was QPR.

We are going through a spell of players costing us matches - silly individual errors.

West Brom - MIG wtf? Followed by a cheating dive but silly challenge by Johnson. Both killer goals.
Everton - O'Shea has a mare - to be fair his form has dipped this season to last.
Chelsea - Bardlsey 2 stupid mistakes for two goals - Larrson stupid challenge - pen! Again killer goals.

RELEGATION - we are in a battle but I believe if we stick with MON we will stay up. Now perhaps I have on blinkers but I can only interpret what I have seen. The players are still playing for MON, THERE IS STILL SPIRIT. However if we are to stay up I believe Wickham to be pivotal. He gives us an out ball up front and can beat their defenders in the air causing them uncertainty. Our midfield is unable to supply good quick passing to the forwards feet so Sess' and Fletcher cannot hold up the ball. I would play Wickham and Fletcher up front. Sess' on the wing.

JOHNSON - is looking better, he cannot play for 90 minutes he drifts in and out, his fitness is suspect but he showed today he can beat a man, pass a ball and score a goal potentially win a game.At times he made Ashley Cole look average today.
MIG - We have a top goal keeper.
Defence - we have experience and just need to cut out stupid errors.
    CM - massive problem.

TO SACK MON - Positives, we could get the new manager effect (honeymoon period) however whoever is in charge in January with out decent money spent we could go down. Maybe the new manager would go 4-4-2 which is wat a lot of people want.
Negatives - well I like MON and I think he will come good but that is just my opinion. Who would we get to replace him. We are not a top team we WILL NOT attract a top manager. So forget that. Martinez - why leave Wigan, what would he achieve at Sunderland, he barely keeps Wigan up each season. This is not a rubber stamp safe. We are looking at second tier managers and I believe MON to be better than them.

    So my team for Reading

    MIG
    BARDLSEY OSHEA CUELLAR COLBACK

    SESS' GARDNER ROSE JOHNSON

WICKHAM FLETCHER (if Fletcher not fit Campbell)

Colback can do a canny job left back, Rose to me WANTS the ball so give him a more active roll, he can tackle, what have we to lose.
I will lose some faith in MON if Fletcher is fit for Reading and he drops Wickham however. :bandit:
