I am about to buy my season tickets for next year. It is going to cost me £1474 which for a bloke on a pension is one hell of a lot given that I have no idea what precisely I am buying with that money. In what other walk of life would you spend that sort of money on a pig in a poke?
agree totally. as with beefy, renewed last week. as soon as i renewed lallana's best man said he wouldn't be leaving and things started looking up. so much for that.
I'm not going to say what I think as I'll get jumped upon by everyone but the chances of me buying a season ticket have gone to virtually nil. The reason being we could be in limbo all summer and by the time we get a new manager and all the transfers done it could be August.
How many years have you all been supporting Saints? MoPo (never called him that before as it sounded stupid, but now very apt) hasn't even been here two seasons. We played well before he came...do you think the players will suddenly forget how to play?
This won't have come as a surprise to the board. Reed was probably involved in getting MoPo...bet the new man is in soon.
Yeah. Up, down, loaded, skint, it doesn't matter. I had a season ticket all through the 90's. Managers and players left all the time, and every season it looked like we would go down. It didn't matter. Saints are my team. I work pretty often at the weekend so I don't get to many games, but I go when I can. Stopping going to St Mary's because of this is a bit pathetic, frankly.
Like your user name! Weren't they a big name from the 80s?? And from Glasgow? Hope they were all Buoys' supporters??
