5 wins on the spin, remember when we struggle to put back to back wins together & another, 2nd in a row, clean sheet. "GET IN THERE CITY"
Listened online. Seemed like we dominated without ever getting into the top couple of gears. Was konch injured? I missed first couple minutes of second half. Hopefully ledge isnt too bad.
Konchesky no one knows what happened, he seemed fine going in but he never came back out Jamie Vardy hobbled off, not sure wh Sean St. Ledger pulled his hamstring again
I've told you for ages that you shoudl never have sacked him in the first place and the moaners on here who wanted rid recently had got it wrong. Still, early days yet. Don't get too carried away. Remember how stupid you looked at the start of last season due to overconfidence. Good luck!
Liam Moore ‏@liammoore93 Great to be playing, another win and top of the league #ifcarlsbergdidaboysdream
Dont think there is any chance of us getting carried away Horsham, any true Foxes fan knows better. We are just enjoying life at the moment (and rightly so) NP has got us playing so lovely attacking football (not sure why he didnt at Hull!) and his own team looking very good, early days though like you said but 7 wins out of 10 is not a bad start!!!!
We didn't sack Pearson. We cancelled his contract by mutual agreement to allow him to join you. But we should have done more to keep him, yes. The bragging last season, which as far as I can attain, was by one or two individuals and not the majority and was taking place before we even kicked a ball. It was pretty clear from match two onward that things weren't going as they should. We've played 10 matches now this season and have been the better side in all. Minus ourselves from the top ten and adding in eleventh place, then we've already played against 3rd, 6th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th - 60% of the top ten and we've yet to see a better side, home or away. We didn't win all those matches, but I even stated at the time that I was actually fairly satisfied in the fact that we played better than the opposition and only lost due to either bad luck/refereeing decision or silly mistakes that are untypical of a Pearson side. Each season, you look at the league after 10 games and you can usually call one of the sides that will go up already. I'm assuming Cardiff must be better than they were today because they were very average. Even so, I think if I were a neutral, having seen most of the top ten play now, I think I'd fancy us. Of course there is a long way to go and anything can happen, you always get a team break from the pack etc, etc, but this is the best chance of achieving automatic promotion since we achieved it in 2003. This time, I think we have a genuine right to get excited, if not because we might go up, then purely for the facts we're playing good football and we're finally back in contention.
agree, top post. I could´nt of wrote it better. We do have real hope this season, but we are talking about the npower here & anything can happen.
Along as we avoid injuries then i think we will get top 6 at least. Nigel has built us a very good squad like most of us knew he would.
Seems me and you Horsham Tiger had more Faith in NP and his staff then some Leicester City supporters . Just need Leicester City and Hull City to go up and mr Ladbrookes in Filey will be crying come may . Who do you lot play next ?
33/1. Hull City. £10 each way promotion [ 33/1 is IF they win the league, less if just promotion ] 15/2 Leicester city £20 win league [ not worth doing each way ] And £25 double to both go up either auto or play offs.
