So , we have seen a few of the teams so far, and overall I think it's been pretty average, with some ****e in there as well. Who do you all think are going to be in the latter stages? Of the teams I have seen, I think Argentina and Germany look like they could be in the mix. England will need to improve considerably. Didn't see the Dutch today , but they seemed to be reasonable, and should get better with Roben back.
It just doesn't seem very "world cuppy" so far. I don't think there will be any major surprises this time round with the usual suspects taking up the quarters and semis. Would like to see all the "bigger" nations first games before I could make a prediction. Pure guff so far
The only team that have impressed me so far is Germany, i didnt see Argentina so cant really comment on them. Of all the "big"' teams that have played France were ****e, Argentina like i said i didnt see, England were ****e, Germany were brilliant and Holland were alright without doing anything too special I thought id be excited about having football to watch everyday but the way its been going when i see a game is about to start i feel as if im forcing myself to watch it rather than wanting to watch it and the vuvuzela's dont help at all
agreed on the non world cuppy feel. germany are the only team who look hungry for it. mick must have a semi by now
Starting to believe but there is a long way to go yet. Have Klose to be top goal scorer at 40/1 as well as Cacau at 150/1. Both scored yesterday. Mon to **** ze germans!
the games are on at around 4am here in australia land , inconsiderate south african bastards - so Ive hardly seen any of it.
