no injury worries apparently. I thought they were crap when we played them at home but apparently we can't go out and attack teams as We aren't good enough. Even headless Dio made them **** them self. Think posters are finally realizing the PL is **** this year. Some really really poor sides. If we'd had the attacking intent of the last three games in the previous games we'd be sitting pretty. Either the team that started or the team that finished, doesn't matter. Getting stuck in and having a go is. Plus get Jack back now. City win two nil.
Iiiiiiif we take to the field with the confidence and application shown against man city and everton i can see us getting a draw maybe nicking a win Massive ifs Il go with my heart 1-2 city Mbokani (finally) snodgrass
Unfortunately I've been unable to get to recent games (in fact I've missed the last three home games) so I expect that the team has been playing well just to annoy me Now I'm back around they may decide to be crap again Apologies if that happens, although if it does then I'm prepared to set up a fundraising account so you can all send me away again (0-1 to City...hopefully)
Did someone say it was pay on the gate? May give it a go. Play as we have been & we'll win handsomely. 2-2.
About time we proper spanked someone. Go for it, when we lose we would think same old same old, but if it all came together mmmmmmmm.
Are we going to have a meltdown if Jak doesn't start? Cos he probably won't. So if we can prepare ourselves for that now and not flood the board with it when it's announced that'd be great.
You going Dennis ( Mr Tash ) TT for me and the early train from Filey to Hull Bloody freezing here today.
I think some would be pissed off. Jak included. When Jak made his mistake he was dropped as soon as Stockdale came in. Marshall should know that if he's going to make a mistake that leads to a goal then he could well face getting dropped. It's no good just saying it, sometimes it has to be done. At least if he is dropped there's a clear reason and he can't really argue. I think we will lose, but only because we couldn't defend a castle from a rogue dandelion attack and I can't see us stopping Matt Phillips or Salamon Rondon.
Mostly other teams having better attackers than we have defenders, but the formation also doesn't help much. The gaps are being exploited on the flanks a lot and you see players like Robbo not closing down when players are coming from the wide areas. So teams are driving at us and getting balls into the box, knowing that we are very generous in the penalty department and we panic more often than not. It's tough, because the formation we are playing is getting the best out of the lads, but it's a really weak formation to play at this level when so many teams play with very, very good wingers. So either we just need to be tighter on the defending and rely more on getting forward through the middle, or continue with the approach we have done and hope that our forwards can deliver enough goals to win the game. I wouldn't change anything, but if I were running training I'd certainly be working more on handling wingers cutting inside, as that's what Matty Phillips is going to do to us tomorrow.
But surely having 3 CB's is ideal for dealing with crosses into the box? They just arent dealing with them. Meyler and Jake had far too much work to do against Everton, both were poor first 10 second half until Jake got his second wind.
Aside from the fact it was under a completely different manager and none of our coaching team were at the club, spot on.
Bollocks. Nothing wrong with these defenders. The very same players formed an extremely capable defence under Steve Bruce.
You're full of irony tonight aintcha? Will you have a meltdown if someone else points out you've no idea how much Josh is getting paid? Will you have a meltdown at another "quote" from the owners? How about a meltdown from you if anyone dares question you or suggests you're talking bollocks? You're a joke lad, you really are. Chazz is right in the other thread, you being a pretend militant, all angsty and puffed up with your own sense of importance and you are pesonally holding the Trust and therefore the fans back from achieving owt. If Jak starts we can easily win this. If Marshall starts, we'll almost certainly lose. 3 nil to us if Jak starts, 4 nil to them if Marshall is still, against all ****ing reason, given another start. No meltdown, just stating the obvious.
This is Marshalls first real mistake. Jak has consistently made gaffs just like Friday nights. I really cannot fathom why people want Jak in goal if they think Marshall is a liability.
