    Attempted to sell/loan Graham Dorrans to Middlesbrough only to pull the plug at the last minute!

    We know **** all about it.

    ‘boro might have tried to stiff them, so might have we (at the time for Long) or maybe a replacement they had planned didn’t come off for them.

    Pissing off other clubs for the sake of it seems really stupid, so I’d assume it was for the reasons above.

    But in any case, WBA can rightfully call the shots (in both of these cases) without rebuke from the uninvolved.
