After a pretty lackluster display down at Norwich on monday night the pressure is back on Brucie more so than ever after defeat to the newly promoted canneries.

With WBA coming to town this weekend the pressure is certainly on Bruce with a large amount of the fans calling for his head is this the beginning or the end for Brucie? For me anything less than a win and he should go. I like Brucie and he has done a good job in his time at the club but everyone's time comes at some stage and it is time for someone with better idea's, better tactics who can take the club that next step further and bring out the best in the players we currently have.

After a transfer window with another boat load of player being brought in we STILL need more players. IMO we are a centre back short, 3 centre backs 2 who'm of which have concerns to there names surrounding injuries aswell as one of them being arrested for private reason's, the left back spot has never been addressed since Bruce arrived, we still don't have a proper left winger and we still have not replaced Bent and now Gyan.

For me its time to pat Brucie on his back and thank him for what he has done and bring in someone with new fresh idea's who can work with the current lot until January and improve us then in the area's its so obvious that we need improving in.

"large amount of the fans calling for his head" - I would still say its 50/50 in the real world, you cant go on views of 10 or 15 people on a ****ty website like this.

"we still have not replaced Bent and now Gyan" - He couldnt replace Gyan could he and where else were we going to find/buy & attract a 20 goal a season striker from?

I agree with the other reasons though, left-back/left winger/tactics etc.

We dont know what is going on behind the scenes but even with defeat against West Brom I still cant see the board giving Bruce the bullet.

If you get caught up in all the hysteria on here then you would probably think that hes already been sacked by now and MON is in charge haha

I think we will win this weekend. But if not, he will go. One way or another. He'll be gone.

The hysteria as you call it, on here is not just a new concern, we are talking since xmas, but I assume youve not looked that far back, well you might have plenty of time to reflect, if we end up in the championship, the way things are going we could take our unwelcome record back from Derby, nothing is for sure, until points are on the board, no matter what colour your specs are.

I certainly thought we would get a point Bill. We nearly scraped one but it would have been a travesty if we had as we were 2nd best for 90% of that game on Monday.

Hysteria is a word I keep hearing from the BiB's.

Concern for the plight of the club and the extremely poor performances and results since Jan of this year, is how the BoB's would describe it but hey, its all about opinions they keep telling me.

From what I've seen on here you can hardly call it hysteria, most have been airing their concerns for months, not weeks and most apart from the odd exception have been logical going on statistics/tactics/preformances and personel and not on the personality.

TBH I thought he played the wrong team against Norwich. Horses for courses and all that. We need a grafter in the middle for away games. No matter what happened against Stoke. (Right or wrong)The mentality is always different for away games. The home side 9/10 show the initiative, have more possession, corners, shots.....and....ultimatly goals. Against us anyway.

Don't let's get caught up in the "hysteria on a sh**** little web-site like this". Let's look at the facial expressions of Quinn and Short on Monday night instead. I reckon from their expressions, Moorsley's right. The end won't be long now.

Some people will never accept Bruce so I expect the Bruce out talk no matter what happens.

Totally agree. I think Bruce has been on a hiding to nothing ever since he took over. I know people say it's nothing to do with his past links but I suspect that's not the case.

Bruce has had his time, spent a fortune, and gone through more players than you would think possible. He bought in Harrods, sold them on,and then went to Woolie's for "pick and mix"

Get the bloody tactics right, Bruce. I am not anti SB, but he continues to **** up and unless he stops right now it's P45 time.

very true but its a shame

my reason's are due to his lack of tactics, it seems as though we have a plan A and if that aint working then wer stuffed. Brucie for me is a canny manager but a bottom half of the table manager. Like I said a couple of weeks ago with regards to our transfers it seems as though he has gone out and brought in people who will make us hard to beat when he should of looked at players who will not make us hard to beat but make us capable of getting the win and to me that shows the ambition of the manager, thats something that maybe good at Wigan but for us no way.

Brucie has done a good job in his time at the helm and has certainly improved the playing squad, the ambition at the club is to get into europe you hear the players, the chairman and the manager talking about the target being europe for this season but can anyone see Brucie getting us there?

Out of all his season's as a manager he has only finished in the top 10 twice.

I wouldn't care if Bruce had tattoo of the Newcastle badge on his arse as long as we had a winning team. The animosity shown toward Bruce is due to the worryingly woeful results since January. Ya F*t geordie c**t just rolls off the tongue too nicely for some to resist though ;-)
