Never been but always hear good things about The Vine. Food is meant to be amazing.

The general area is an absolute dump and we’ll do well to avoid another 7-1 so I’d get there early for extra drinking time.

Cheers. It was a dump the last time I went. We ended up in a housing association club that was closing the following week, so they were selling the beers cheap and pocketing the money.

Just discovered that there is a direct train from Stratford to The Hawthorns (they have their own station) and it’s actually running on Easter Monday. Would be churlish not to take advantage, to witness either another crucifixion or finally rising from the dead. So if anyone fancies a drink pre match shout out here. The Vine does look excellent but also requires booking apparently.
