Winger set for Magpies exit
Newcastle United, 11:37, April 6, 2011
Newcastle winger Wayne Routledge could be set for a permanent move to QPR at the end of the season following a loan spell.
Routledge joined the Championship high-fliers in the January transfer window on loan for the rest of the season and has impressed during his stint at Loftus Road.
The return from injury of Hatem Ben-Arfa next season will push him further down the pecking order at St James' Park and Newcastle are ready to cash in on the 26-year-old.
It is thought QPR would be willing to pay around ã1.5million to sign Routledge on a permanent basis and Newcastle are unlikely to deny him a move.
