disappointed with this, Routledge could have definately been useful in the Prem.

So Newcastle don't want him then. Methinks he might have shot himself in the foot.

Does seem to have shot himself in the foot somewhat.

I thought he had a bit of talent, but the last thing we need is another sulker with an over-inflated opinion of himself (especially if Bothroyd is joining us as well). Even Warnock has limits.

OR could be good for us with possibly lower transfer fee (if they want him off the books) and a lower wage offer if he doesn't generate enough interest.

I hope it's just QPR negotiating strongly and not being prepared to blow the transfer kitty and the wage structure on one player. Personally, I'd really like to sign him but one does read that some clubs and some players do talk silly numbers.

I like Routledge, and feel that Sir Neil can get more from him

Why bother, Hoops E|ternal. We will not be in the Prem; that long, just one season!!!

I pity you if you end up with Betty Bothroyd, he's a liability. Genuinely wish you good luck and hope you do the double over Swansea Town.

Agree with this. Didn't make the mark with Tottenham or Newcastle. And don't for one moment think he would of made it with us. Better off using our "resources" on others.

you could also include Aston Villa in that lot BUT lets not forget that NW did get Routledge paying well. and he was pretty good under Magilton. This could be his last chance to prove he is premiership quaity and sometimes a big fish in a small pond is better suited than a small fish in a big pond.

i woul take him because even if he plays from the bench he does have pace
