So what do we all think about wayne? should we keep him or sell him? if sell how much?

personally i think we need to keep him he has got potential and he is lightning quick, as quick as lennon, walcott etc. we havnt really got any pace in midfield apart from jonas, plus he gives us a diffrent attacking edge with the way he runs at defenders. i know his crossing is questionable at best and he runs into players but i really feel that the talent and physical ability is there ( raw pace etc ) but he just needs to fine tune his game a bit

    thoughts?

    What potential? He's 26 now.

Might have been useful this season, but he'll never get a game next season. Think the deal with QPR's agreed anyway.

We could have used him in the second half of the season just gone.

I'd keep him. We don't have anyone else like him on that side of the pitch unless Pardew has someone lined up <whistle>

Not good enough for the EPL. Too good for the Championship.

I think he's already gone to QPR, so I hope he does well there.

We need to be aiming higher than him. So, no to Wayne for me.

    Sell...

He's quite important to QPR, think we could get rid for 2-3million

I'd keep him, as he offers us something different in midfield. Use him as a back-up winger, for when injuries/suspensions force us into changing the team. He's a good player to have on the squad, as he provides something a bit different.

routledge is adored is my household as my fiancee is a palace fan. i think if we get enough replacements then sell him to qpr for a few mill, but like with this season if we get a few injuries and the mighty one picks up his 15 bookings we may need him next season still. id rather play him than raylor

Bye bye for me. Would have been useful last year when down to the bare bones but I'd rather we kept Barton for the right and got a youngster to back him up. I was going to say groomed a youngster to replace him but that has a different meaning these days.

i know he has pretty much gone i dont think pardew was a big fan of his it would be sad to see him go though he does offer us something diffrent and if he started to deliver decent crosses and tested the keeper more with his shots he would be one of the most deadly wingers in the league. brilliant comparision to rob earnshaw with regards to being too good for the champ not good enough for the prem. ebanks blake looks like being another one to add to that list too!

He doesn't really fit into our style of football (he does with QPR though!) and if we did play that style I'd like to think we can do better. I quite like him overall though
