    Nothing to do with football, but I just went on the internet wayback machine and checked this forum, apparently the site hasn't been archived yet, but after my request it now will be :).
    Our forum will be the first to be archived <party>, alongside the homepage!

    I use that to show clients how sites and approaches to the internet have changed over time and also highlight that an excessive use of 'bells and whistles' has fallen out of fashion with users.

    I like to highlight boo.com to them as a prime example that keeping it simple is far more effective.

    Right, in laymans terms what does this actually do? Archives everything so it is easier to find, or backs it up so if the site crashes/closes you can still look back at it in the future?

    It's a site archive for the internet so you can see how a site has evolved over time.

    Aye, it basically just lets you check on a website and how it looked on a certain date in the past.
    Once a site is set to be archived, it should continuously take snapshots every so often I believe, so it can (like OT says) show how a website has changed/evolved over the years since it was first archived.

    I have a friend. She's quite a tall lass, about 6ft 3, and she gets alot of insults towards her because of her appearance, and gets very upset about it. I try to tell her that she's beautiful, and that she shouldn't care what others think, but it doesn't make her feel any better.

    Are there any people on here that are experienced with women, that could give me some advice on how to cheer her up? What can i say to her?

    I like her alot and i hate seeing her upset.
