Awful news we seem to run regular threads about Duncan's fitness problems, hope he can put them behind him.

It says out for two weeks in the Echo, fingers crossed, it would be icing on the cake to see Duncan getting some game time and a goal or two in a continuation of our current form.

I agree with Tees. I just can't see him playing a run of games again.

I don't think he can be written off just yet. He was always going to have niggling injuries, and this one started off as an impact injury from a kick.

His contract runs out in the summer so there's no point saying we need to get rid. I just hope he can have a consistent 2nd half of the season.

It's been such a frustrating saga. If he can get solid game time after this injury and do well then he's got a future in football, presumably with us, but if not then it's time to put his business degree to use.

So fragile is Duncan. He's had some awful injuries over the years and he's done really well to actually get back to playing again. I think the next 3 month will show whether he can sustain the rigors of pro football. I wish him well.

Whatever the future holds for him, his career to date shows that he has what it takes for a successful future.

To keep constantly having to work his way back from serious injury.

His educational qualification, earned while still learning his trade as a footballer.

Add to this that his positive public image.

This all bodes well for him.
Most of all though I want him to play.
He has an exciting style and this is something that not too many players possess.

He was looking like getting back to being the player we thought he could when Marcus Bean decided to give him a kick and rule him out. Disgusting as he was looking fir at that point. I’m gutted fir the lad. To suffer 1 ACL is awful for a footballer. To suffer 2 in 2 years is nigh on career ending. Sadly.

If it's not related to his ACL injuries and it's just a knock or a strain then I don't see why it will mean the end for him like some suggest.

If it is, he may struggle.
