Saturday see's Hockaday's Leeds make the trip south to visit Vicarage Road and a Watford team who despite having some form going into this one have their fair shair of off the field issues as well. One thing is for sure Watford are usually in amongst the goals, having scored twice as many as Leeds in the campaign so far. Leeds had a miserable time of it on Tuesday with many fans claiming the lacklustre performance to be the worst they have ever witnessed from a Leeds United side. The midfield were too lightweight and there was no service to the forwards which put Hockadays tactics under the spotlight once again, though Cellino has claimed it is the players fault, not his coach. Watford had a better time of it, picking up a 2-0 away win at league new boys Rotherham, to keep their momentum going in the early season. While Leeds have won this fixture more times than lost, Watford have taken the points in 3 of the last 6 meetings, and are currently on an impressive run at home stretching back into last season. Leeds Wins 7 Draws 6 Watford Wins 5

Leeds Form Watford Form

L 0 - 2 Brighton Rotherham 0 - 2 W Last Game

W 1 - 0 Middlesbrough Norwich 3 - 0 L 3 - 0

W 2 - 1 Accrington Stevenage 0 - 1 W Watford Win

L 2 - 0 Millwall Bolton 3 - 0 W 08/04/14 - Vicarage Road

W 2 - 0 Dundee United Udinese 2 - 2 D

Team News Damned's Starting XI

Leeds please log in to view this image Gaetano Berardi (Suspended) please log in to view this image Souleymane Doukara (Injured) please log in to view this image Aidy White (Injured) please log in to view this image Steve Morison (Doubtful) After signing a permanent deal Bellusci should be included, along with new signing Mirco Antenucci. A poor midweek showing might have lead to some motivation for the Leeds squad, however there are still a lot of new faces trying to gel in a system which doesn't seem to be working. Without more creativity in the middle, we will struggle to create chances against a Watford team who are capable of scoring for fun on their day. Bellusci lines up alongside Cooper for me at the back, in a slight change to a narrower 4-3-3 to accommodate the fact we only have pseudo wingers fit. A front three of Antenucci, Sharp and Ajose will hopefully be able to interchange, with Cook coming into midfield to replace the under fire Murphy.

Have Your Say Will we see a similar squad to that which started on Tuesday? Will Hockaday change the system, or does he really believe wide players are a thing of the past? (They have been at Leeds for a couple of years now!) Can't see us getting anything out of this. Think we will lose 0-3. Apologies in advance to those who want Hock given more time, but if the difference between him staying or going is a proper hammering I would prefer to lose by a huge margin. We won't move on with him in charge. Another great op btw.
Morning all. The result of the fixture hangs on the formation the Hock sets up and whether or not Belusci is as good as he allegedly appears to be in training. If we adopt a diamond formation and Belusci is that good, we may just get a draw. If Belusci isn't that good or struggles, Watford could put up a cricket score and declare at half time. I think the Hock will have learned from Tuesday's farce and will set us up either as 352 with overlapping full backs to provide width or 4132 with a flat midfield & Austin lying in front of the back 4. We'r still a team in transition with the squad still settling down and getting used to playing togther. It wil take time, but I just hope we're better than Tuesday. Leeds to win 2-1.
Glory is that you or has clivetime hacked your account know how you feel mukka thats exactly how i was last season with Lomas wanted him out whatever the cost
You were on the wum when he was appointed, but it didn't mean you were wrong. We are a laughing stock, made worse every time the thick **** opens his trap.
Shyte thread again Expecting nothing from this match except more chuckles from the wall boys. Can't see Hock lasting many more days unless there's a massive improvement on Tuesday's performance. I like the selected team Damned except Austin and would sit Zan (If his behind closed doors game went well) at the front of it. We need ball control and attacking play otherwise why even select a striker
I fear you're right Doc. Also, if we sign Adryan and this Sloth guy we'll have more than enough midfielders to not even play the huge amount of strikers on our books
Thanks for another good thread Durham, white letters maybe for a blindy like me ... that team looks useful, I would even consider Smith up front and Sharp out left to give us out balls under pressure away from home ... with the players revolting at Watford, I wonder if their Italians will be advising our lot to do the same against Hock ... I can see our boys telling the Watford Mafia how poor Hock is ... anything's possible
Was messing about with that a bit, it used to work well in black with the old font but since I've changed it it isn't as clear. Problem with white is for the positions that overlap any of the lines. I might have a mess with it at some point. I've already made 60 player images (home & away) though so it will take a bit to change it!!
We certainly had yellow players on Tuesday. Can you do some white feathers as well. As you can probably tell I am still pissed off!
can we have a nice mowed lawn effect too maybe a nice big diamond in the middle and can you add a bucket for glory to be sick in
Be interested to see how this game pans out as it will be like a Serie A v Serie B game - can only see 1 winner tbh!!
please log in to view this image Any preference on white / yellow? As you can see, that's the biggest I can go based on the longest name in our squad at the minute!
Good thread Durham Also are you aware that you can change the amount of days the poll is open so that you can put it up earlier?
