Indeed. Watford will be buoyed by that point they got at Old Trafford last weekend, and they'll want to use it as a platform to build from.

We need to put that optimism out as soon as we can. And I have to say, they were extremely fortunate to get that point. Man Utd were very profligate in front of goal. Ronaldo, Bruno, Elanga, Rashford all spurning big chances.

It'll be a tricky game, as they are battling to stay in the division, but it's one I expect us to win.

 

Smith Rowe? Is he fit fur this match?

 

Arteta said everyone is in contention to play apart from Tomiyasu, so I'd presume so.

We’ve looked a bit shaky defensively when Watford have come at us, Martinelli needs to provide Tierney with more support when they overload on his side. Speaking of which, Martinelli hasn’t had a particularly good game. He’s been wasteful and keeps over hitting crosses.

But overall, we’ve been playing some crisp football, nice interplay and rotations, decent structure, playing through their low block. Just need to create more openings.

He’s not had a great game but that’s another cracking strike. Another assist for Laca too.

 

How was Cathcart’s challenge on Lacazette not a penalty? He clips his foot, grabs his shirt and doesn’t get the ball unbelievable that’s not been given
