The two goals, scored without reply at Derby, came from mid-field players rather than our dangerous looking forwards. No matter, we need to improve our goal difference, having the worst of the three teams level on points occupying 6th to 8th position. Preston's outing at Luton was a very dour affair on Saturday. Their intent to win was minimal, as shown by the fact that in 90 minutes they managed just three touches in the Luton penalty box and just two wayward efforts on goal. "Parking the bus" comes to mind. Tuesday's visitors have lost the fewest games of any club outside the playoff spots. They have also drawn more games than every team other than West Brom. this season. With this in mind, it is fair to say that Preston are much harder to beat than their lowly league position would suggest, but that they have found it difficult to get wins over the line that could take them towards the promotion places. Given our stuttering false dawns and mixed performances, it's hard to know what to expect apart from some tinkering to the starting 11 and subs to change things from Cleverley as the game develops.
Apparently they parked the bus up at them over the weekend. Quite the quirk in the fixture list getting us 3 days later - same journey plus the delights of SW Hertfordshire.
This work thing is going to ruin my season! Hope for a Watford win, I will have to just look at the score on the mobile.
Thought Sissoko would be back. See people are complaining about that but TDB was never going to start again after so long out .
Very odd! Having an international IP address, I could pay £10 to watch the game, but if in the UK I cannot watch. Our usual source of streams is only available to me tonight with a VPN, set to UK
