Liverpool will have their sights set on a top four position when the season comes to an end, while Watford will be looking to improve on last season quite dramatically. It has been a busy time in Watford for those trying to bring new players to the club. The game against Liverpool could mark Andre Gray's first appearance for Watford following his club-record move from Burnley. Brazil Under-20 international Richarlison could be in line for his debut too, having joined from Fluminense and new arrival from Chelsea, Nathaniel Chalobah should also play a part. Liverpool will be without Adam Lallana, who is facing up to two months on the sidelines with a thigh injury, while Nathaniel Clyne is also ruled out. Daniel Sturridge is considered a doubt after sustaining a slight thigh problem during the Reds' pre-season friendly win over Bayern Munich and Philippe Coutinho could also sit the game out as a precaution due to a back complaint. However, James Milner, Dejan Lovren and Sadio Mane are all fit and ready to play. Possible Line Ups: Watford: Gomes; Janmaat, Kaboul, Britos, Holebas; Capoue, Chalobah, Cleverly, Richarlison, Pereyra; Gray. Liverpool : Mignolet; Alexander-Arnold, Milner, Matip, Lovren; Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum; Mane, Salah, Firmino. Enjoy the game wherever you are in the World
FA Cup final referee Anthony Taylor has been selected to referee Watford’s televised opening day Premier League clash at home to Liverpool on Saturday.

it's on sky.... visit your local pub! I will be sneaking out of a wedding reception, not 20 minutes drive from Anfield....
Last season I found myself watching a stream from NBC quite a lot. Is that a pay channel? I assume it is otherwise I could move my ISP to the States.
Cheers OFH. Will be interesting to see the line up and to watch the highlights. I am off to a 40th party Friday night and I doubt it will finish until late and a 6:30am K.O. might mean I am asleep of have to push through to after sunrise... COYH!!!
Three of the four Sky pundits have us down to go down. In the blurb 2 then back track a bit and say 'we'll be in the mix'. No mention of Bournemouth, Swansea, Palace. I just don't get it.
The likelihood of a terror attack is very small, but clubs are taking the possibility seriously and have issued the following. For those who are lucky enough to get to the games have a safe time. • Arrive early, allowing more time for security checks • Minimise what you carry, fewer bag searches will speed up entry to the ground • Be vigilant at all times and if you see anything suspicious, tell a steward right away • If you see anything that could pose an immediate threat to safety, call 999 • In an emergency, listen to the Public Address instructions and follow them • If told to evacuate, do so immediately, do not wait around to film events on your mobile • Move right away from the stadium as quickly as possible for your safety and to allow clear access for any emergency vehicles • Once you are safe, follow the local police force on Twitter for updates
well...here we are Thanks M Frenchie for starting us off! So, everyone predicts us to lose and i suspect, if i listen to my head, we will but i believe in Marco Silva and i think whatever happens, this season we will be far more entertaining and we have every chance of winning games like this..it may just be a bit too early in the season but my heart says we're going to win it, but maybe with a cautious 2-1 . Enjoy the game!
According to the official site Troy Deeney will take a late fitness test to see if he can take any part in the game today.
