Well it's 1-0 at HT. We look like we need a lot more practice with this 3-5-2 setup. Lacked creativity till Success came on. They all look quite off in terms of touch. Harry the Hornet is having the best game so far.
Second half about to kick off.

If he's not scooping, he's chipping...

2-1 now. Freekick gives Gomes no chance.

Vydra on for Deeney - I think I'd have preferred to see them on together.

Was interesting to see to see no new player start - Issac did come on early though and looked lively.

Apart from Britos the defence looked shaky.

Nice finish by Ighalo which might give him confidence.

All gets a bit patchy once the subs start appearing.

    2-2 finish, Yorkshire.
It was as though they had no idea what their jobs were in midfield particularly, you know, if he goes, I drop, one whose responsibility different oppo players were. Very confused and too many similar type players - Guediora, Behrami, Capoue, Watson, solid not hugely creative central midfielders. I wasn't convinced with the formation. I'm not saying it can't work, but I guess I think if it's in their blood to play more familiar 442 433 4231 whatever, then we might take a good few kickings till we have got the hang of it.
At the back they were unsure, the shaky start of a kid whose stabilisers have just been taken off. Each pass or movement carried a look to their colleagues of "this is right, isn't it?"
Vydra played deeper than I expected. I guess Berghuis and Abdi (of old) would have been good in the middle. Success had some get up and go, but we needed someone like that in the hole as the front two generally played square of each other.
At times it was hard to pick out the formation. Gomes was usual brilliant self. Britos put in a solid performance and I thought Prodl was strong as the right of the back three in the first half. Be interested to hear what others thought and whether we'll be OK with this formation.

Another formation question. I reckoned (at times <laugh>) that we were playing 3-5-2 with the five as a W with possession, and as an M without the ball. Does that ring true with others' views?

One last thing I forgot. At full time Behrami stormed straight off the pitch, shaking his head, ignoring the crowd, taking off his top, for all the world like he was heading straight for his agent's telephone number.

No stream Andy, so can only go on what people have said. There seems to be agreement that the back three looked slow. An attacking mid-field player is urgently required which is maybe why we see so many rumours. Most comments suggest we were better than last week, not difficult, but are we good enough when you look at the start to the season?
How are the building works? Read that the GT stand was not open due to building works there.

Yes - new screen going up.

Most of the players walked straight off!

Yeah but Behrami went off in disgust, he was really acting exasperated, shaking his head. Proper pissed off. The others walked off, yes, but not with that reaction.

Maybe a bad tackle in the game?

Hard to see what he'd be unhappy about - only played about 10 minutes.

    Maybe that was the issue!
