With a win over Crystal Palace last time around preceding a nice spell of warm weather training in Dubai, Everton should be keen to get back to the business of football against Watford. No such luck for Watford, but at least some of the walking wounded have managed to get back on the training pitch.
Just as Everton’s injury problems have abated, new ones have arrived. Eliaquim Mangala now looks like being out for the rest of the season while Seamus Coleman has picked up a thigh strain.
Watford have 11 injuries on their books at the minute, the most in the Premier League. Current absentees Tom Cleverley, Molla Wague, Huerelho Gomes, Kiko Femenia, Will Hughes, Miguel Britos and Younes Kaboul are in various stages of recovery, but at the current time it maybe too early for any of them to return.

    Match Facts:

Everton have the joint third worst away record in the Premier League, having picked up just one win and eight points on their travels so far.

They have scored just nine goals away from home so far, an average of 0.69 goals per game, and have failed to score in five of their 13 away games.

At the other end, the Blues have conceded 28 goals away from home, an average of 2.15 per game, and failed to keep a clean sheet in 11 of those games.

Watford have the joint third worst home form in the league this season, with just four wins from 13 so far. Two of those have come against Arsenal and Chelsea, though.

So far the Hornets have scored 20 goals at home, an average of 1.54 per game, and have failed to score in just three of their 13 home games.

At the other end, they have conceded 26 goals, an average of two per game, and failed to keep a clean sheet in 11 of their games so far.

I wanted to use this picture in the match thread, but it wouldn't let me for some unknown reason.

Good to get back to Prem league games. I heard that Marco Silva was being invited as the guest of honour.

As usual, we could really do with all 3 points, but I'd take a draw. Cheers for the thread OFH.

Be a welcome to English football for Javi facing Big Sam and his team!

They have been poor on the road....which probably means one thing sadly.

I hope not - a repeat of the Chelsea performance would be nice.

I think Molla Wague isn't in the named squad, so can't play for the rest of this season whether fit or not.

I sat on that glass studded wall near the "toilets" so I could see the Man U v Watford cup tie, I managed to find an area of glass that fitted quite well o_O

Likes of Hughes and Femenia back in contention too.

Don't expect Chalobah back any time soon if Gracia's comments are anything to go by..

Good to hear - I think we have really missed Femenia - pacy, skillful and comfortable on the ball.

Used to be team mates with Deulofeu too, so right wing telepathy there as well.

Who’d like to be a fly on the wall in the hospitality areas for the directors?! We really need another big performance today to push towards the mid 30s points. COYH!

The line in the description about today's match within the TV guide in Sky, presumably provided by BT Sport as they are the broadcaster: "Tensions will be high following the Toffees' controversial pursuit of Marco Silva earlier this season".
