Well, we’ll well....said the rocking chair! We are upbeat about going to a small club, a tough outfit with a good recent past....not a big club though! NW made the error of ignoring Lee Tomlin for some reason...perhaps he didn’t like the cut of his gib, or other things, and to his cost! NH has delayed putting in Mark Harris before now, only acting when he was one game away from Masky’s chopper....and that can hurt the first time eh BFB? Might even improve Glatzel along the way, as he looks a better player now! This has a score draw written all over it, so 2-1 City it is, with two from Harris and a penalty from Ralls!
OK, it's an away game against a very good side in Watford - would you go two up top for this one? Maybe we should pack the midfield, sit deeper, invite them on and play a narrower game to force them wide? We came unstuck trying to outplay them in the Prem and got thrashed - different circumstances tomorrow? Harris - go for it pal. If we get beat, I doubt you'll get anything like the flak if the same result happens because we reverted back to plan A.
No idea what Harris has got in mind but as sure as eggs are eggs Watford won’t be sitting back. I say take them on and see what happens. You never know we may get a 1-0 like we did here back in 2014 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/30156017
The only change to Tuesday is on the bench with Benkovic in for the unlucky Bagan who has done nothing wrong.
An excellent result at Watford continuing the recent good run So, Nottingham Forest 0 Cardiff City 2 Preston 0 Cardiff 1 Cardiff 3 Barnsley 0 Cardiff 4 Luton 0 Cardiff 3 Huddersfield 0 Watford 0 Cardiff 1 Anyone notice the pattern of wins eh?
Best display this season IMO. Played some decent stuff first half and repelled the Watford in the second half comfortably. Bonus was not having to listen to those clowns on city TV but watching it on Watford TV with decent commentators.
Rarely in the history of humanity has one person been so delighted to be so wrong for so long. That's me. Great win.
