WATFORD v BURNLEY The Horns welcome back Sean Dyche and his pormotion chasing Burnley. I hope they go up and don't care if we lose this one. I'd love to see Dyche in the Prem. Some early team news from the Horns on this link. Here is a link to a good interview with Sean Dyche as he returns to this Vic. Moreover, here he mentions how much his squad is stretched at the moment. Comments welcome Enjoy the game!
No, if we win they still have a six point cushion. My love for Watford is greater than my hate of the hoops..
Coming up for this and want nothing but a Watford win and a good performance.... but if a loss means one step close to Dyche going up, then I won't be too 'devastated' Sounds like Burnley have a few injury problems, so do think we are playing them at the best time!
With both Vokes and Ings out I think this is one we should expect to win. As such knowing this league it'll end up a scoreless bore draw. Strange from STH that he's happy for Burnley to win. Obviously knows the hoops have no chance of getting auto promotion and is more worried that the orns will overtake them for the final playoff spot though I personally can't see QPHa dropping enough points to not have to suffer the humiliation of playoff defeat.
I threw my initial comments out there to see who still thinks we can really make it to the play-offs. No one so far then...
We really should win this considering Vokes, Ings and Trippier are out but last time I was really confident before a game we lost 3-0 at home to Yeovil... Win this one and win against Leeds and I think play offs could be on.
Dare to believe!! The 'unstoppable' force - "Watford have won six of their last seven home games in all competitions, drawing the other one. Their last defeat at Vicarage Road was 1-0 against Reading in the Championship on 11 January." Meets the 'immovable' object - "Burnley are unbeaten in their last eight away games in the Championship, winning four." Something has to give tomorrow!? And I don't mean S.D.'s voice finally getting over breaking.
Mex, I hope we can, I think we can, do I believe we can yes, is it likely we will, my 101Kg is sitting on the fence.
Looking at the form it's a nailed on 0-0 stalemate, maybe a brief scuffle between Dyche and Sannino to liven things up.
I think they already have with their wage bill and abuse of the fair play regulations, lets see how that pans out in the close season...Add to that the insipid football played under arry and this will go down as one of the low ebbs in the oops istory....
