HERE WE GO AGAIN AFTER OUR TRIP TO WEMBLEY

Back to normal in the EPL, but it is not going to be a normal game with Arsenal trying to finish the season in the top four, and Watford wanting to be the 'best of the rest'.

Arsenal will be without the suspended Sokratis Papastathopoulos. Get that lot on the back of a shirt. The Greece international was shown a 10th booking of the campaign in the defeat to Everton last weekend and has picked up a two-game ban as a result. The Gunners will be hopeful Granit Xhaka (groin) is fit enough to be involved, although long-term injury absentees Danny Welbeck (ankle), Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin (both knee) are still missing.

Watford will have three players missing from their squad.
Jose Holebas picked up a hamstring problem during the FA Cup semi-final, while Domingos Quina injured his shoulder in training.

The two coaches know each other quite well. Hornets head coach Gracia said: “We have a good relationship – we played together many years ago and from that moment we have remained in touch.
“At different times, we have played against each as players and managers and it will be good to see him again – we are very close but our teams are very different.”

Asked if he earmarked Emery as a top manager-in-the-making back in their playing days, Gracia replied: “In that moment, no – we just spoke about football, played football and we enjoyed it.

    Our Officials for the game.

    Referee: Craig Pawson

    Fourth official: Simon Hooper

Both teams might have their minds on other key games which could affect team selection .

Fancy a score draw or home win !

Wolves would be well down the table but for their record against the top 6!

Typical Everton this season - Silva fails to get them motivated for a game against a lesser side .

  6. I think an Arsenal fan may have been busy editing Troy's Wiki page. Check the third sentence <doh>

Sadly I will not be streaming in tomorrow as it is my birthday and we are going to a mountaineering lecture by Conrad Anker, not sure how I missed the match in my diary unless it was rearranged.
Enjoy the game all, a draw would be good.

Roberto Pereyra insists Watford’s focus has switched back to the race for Europe after the highs of their Wembley exploits last Sunday. “Now we can talk about Europe, but we know that we are in a fight. I think it’s a concrete opportunity for the club to get into Europe this season and we need to fight for it."

I wonder if some of our players would want to stay if they had the chance to play in Europe?

I think Doucouré is the only one really keen to move on and that is just for Champions league football which isn't certain - he could go to PSG and be left out of the squad for example.

If I'm right, all of our wins at the Vic live on TV this season have been 2-1 (Spurs, Palace (both) and Leicester).

I think Doucoure is making too many mistakes at the moment for a real Champions League contender to come in for him.

No Rob or Gerry tonight, think we will suffer through lack of creativity, shame because this Arsenal side are there for the taking.

Konstantinos Mavropanos is making his first Premier League start for Arsenal since May 2018 (vs Leicester), a game in which he was sent off after just 15 minutes.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is Arsenal's highest Premier League goalscorer this season with 17 goals - but he hasn't scored away from home in 2019. His last seven goals in all competition have come at the Emirates.
