So Sanchez ain't going to the world cup but West Brom clogger James McClean could well be there...who says football ain't ****ed up???? Ozil and Sanchez are still trying to hold the club to ransome and are reported to be demanding over £300,000 per week each. They seem to think the grass is greener elsewhere...a bit like Oxo-Chamberlain did The likely hood is the Pep Guardiola will show his tactical genius and throw an enormous wad of cash at Sanchez and your board in January so the coming months are going to be vital for the gooners. They need to pick up as many points as possible now so that they are in with a chance of getting in the top four so they can resist city. If they are off the pace they will lose one or both of them in January. Watford have started the season ok (apart from being thumped by city and dumped out the league cup by a championship team) so it could be a decent match. Arsenal haven't been playing brilliantly but are in a decent position in the league and look like they could challenge for a top four spot which is a shame cos the meltdown on Arsenal TV would be a joy to behold (not for you lot obviously... but as a john the baptist once said...**** happens so stop wiv yer bitchin) Watfords keeper is one of the great mysteries of the world. How anyone can be a world class one minute and a dogs arse the next defies understanding. Arsenal have had the benefit of some of his dog arse days in the past. In October 2008 he gave away two soft goals which handed Arsenal an unassailable 4-2 lead in the 88th minute of the NLD at the Emirates. In November 2010 he gave away another soft goal which gifted Arsenal an unassailable 2-0 leads at ht at the Emirates. Strangely enough the first game ended 4 all and the second ended with Arsenal losing 3-2 ... for some reason I can seem to remember who Gomes was playing for at the time The most most difficult part of this match for arsenal fans will be trying to stay awake while watching it on BT with Michael Owen and Owen Hargreaves droning on. Your one consolation if you don't win is that we are at wembley so at least you mo fo tarts will be able to laugh at us
Line-up this Season clearly shows Wenger is prepping for life without Sanchez and Ozil. Makes you wonder why Wenger didn't just cash in and buy replacements in the Summer. (but then very few of Wengers business decisions seem to make sense any more)
Th ****ing **** thing is - we are playing poorly. The system isn't working but we all know NOTHING will change until after the 65th minute. Wenger very rarely makes any kind of changes before then.
